Following lots of filming around Marple,
Thursday 29th May was the Ringers turn to host Craig Cash and his
'Jellylegs' team. Local man Craig, known to millions for his roles
in amongst other things 'Early Doors' & 'The Royle Family',
has written a comedy/drama for the BBC called 'Sunshine' in which
he also acts, directs and produces through his production company
'Jellylegs'.
The programme stars Steve Coogan as 'Bing' Crosby, a bin man with
a gambling problem and centres around his relationship with his
son and father played by Bernard Hill. The scene filmed in the
Ringers involves a conversation in a pub between Bing and his dad.
Both Sue & I both managed to secure parts as Background
Artistes so keep your eyes open for us.
The programme was shown in October and common consensus was that
it was brilliant and made Marple look great. Sue was clearly
spotted but for a change Peter missed out.
